CRAZY is what we’ve been up to!

This past month has been a whirlwind of traveling, hosting, debriefing, sending off, programing the Long Term Department, family time with our interns, family time with just the 3 of us, all while still trying to unpack boxes and GET ORGANIZED! I’ll elaborate more in a minute, first you need to watch this video and see what Adventures looks like on the inside, this is where we work and live, we love it!

Like I said, we have been crazy busy. But it’s a good kind of busy. A few weeks ago Benny led a debrief for our Long Term Philippines team who had just finished 4 weeks of training at our base in Guatemala. We spent time helping them process and prepare for their launch to the Philippines a week later.

We also headed out as a family to the World Race training camp in Tennessee! It was exciting to see these young adults get wrecked with God’s love for the nations, and begin to prepare their hearts for a life changing season. It was also a memorable time for Benny and I, as this was the place where God began to set up our relationship. It was surreal to be back there 2 years later with our son. (If you haven’t already, I encourage you to read ‘our story’ here)

With all the business we were still able to find some time for fun and relaxation!

Kohen proudly cheered on the Tigers with his Papa.

My hubby made time to romance me  🙂

Our friends at Adventures threw a Halloween party, this Mummy showed up ready to party! We also celebrated Kohen’s 3 month Birthday with a trip to get Fro-Yo for mom & dad.

We even managed to get in a little exercise!

Benny and I are doing well with all the transitions that have taken place lately. It’s good to see Benny get excited about the vision for the Long Term Department (more details soon), he has such a heart for serving the nations and our missionaries. We are thoroughly enjoying being parents, Kohen is such an amazing blessing and a pure source of joy for us.

Please keep Benny in your prayers this week as he is involved in some pretty instrumental meetings for the Long Term department. Once some final decisions are in place we’ll have  Benny give a good explanation as to what Long Term missions will look like from here on out and how he is helping to make it happen.

Thanks for checkin’ in with us! We love staying connected with our friends and supporters!
