Philippines Super Typhoon

Hello family and friends,

As I’m writing this, one of the largest super-typhoons of our time is barraging the Philippines. According to our Navy, there are sustained winds of up to 195 mph and gusts up to 235 mph. That’s very intense. While you’re reading this, I would love it if you took just a little time to pray for the people of the nation that are getting their lives violently thrown upside down. I remember living in Haiti shortly after the earthquake of 2010 and how much devastation, change and grief it brought. While you are praying for the people of the Philippines I would also love it if you took some time to pray for the AIM team that we just sent a few weeks ago. They are located in the north and shouldn’t be directly affected for another 6 to 8 hours. That means that if you are reading this when you wake up, they were already hit. Thankfully, the northern region should “only” have 40 mph winds and heavy rain. Regardless, there will be plenty of need surrounding them. Please pray for favor, grace, protection, peace and a strategical response to all the need around them. I will try to give you updates as I get them.

  1. I heard from Miles at 5:30 EST that the team is doing really well. They are currently getting hit but are as prepared as can be. Once it is passed he will get us another update. Thank you for your prayers.

  2. Update: the team is all safe and sound! However, please continue praying for the people who have just had their lives turned upside down in the Philippines. Thank you
