My Favorite People in the World,
Meet Kohen Bravery Veale! This is the little guy that has consumed our every waking moment the past month and the main reason why some of you haven’t heard from us in a little while. He is such an incredible bundle of joy and we are enthralled with our son. Also, he’s perfect 🙂 For those of you who don’t know, he was born on Aug. 3rd weighing in at 7lbs 15 oz and at a length of 20 in. 20 inches also happens to be about as far as he gets from his mom! Angie actually has done a really good job of sharing our son with others and letting them hold him, but she is always aware of everything he’s doing…including breathing in the middle of the night! I have a wonderful wife and she is a wonderful mother.
This past month has been filled with a number of transitions. I completed my last days at the teen rehab center I’ve been working at for the past 2 years. We stepped into parenthood while trying to prepare for our trip to Georgia. We got the cheapest 2nd vehicle we could afford which happened to be a motorcycle, and then I got my endorsement for it. We said our good byes, packed our U-haul, fixed the car that decided to completely fall apart 4 days before departure and then got on the road.
Along the way, we stopped in Mackinaw City to celebrate with my family as my brother got married!! It was a beautiful day and a gorgeous wedding. I am so thankful that my brother John found such a beautiful partner and it makes my heart glad that they compliment each other well.
We also are getting the opportunity to stop along the way to visit family, friends and maybe even the mammoth caves on our way to Georgia. We’re excited to complete our first family trip!! Once we get to Georgie, we will be hitting the ground running. Be watching for the new blogs and more baby pics coming your way. Please be praying for a smooth transition to Georgia, increased financial support (we are currently around 35% of our goal even though we are moving right now), God’s favor and safe travels.
In His Grace,
Benny, Angie and K. Brave
